My husband and I and our two kids live on a small homestead in Newcastle, where we love to learn to be more self sufficient. We started growing our own loofah plants in our garden this last year with the only intentions being to grow our own dish and body sponges and add something new. It has unexpectedly turned into something much bigger than that and we are loving it. At the moment we are only selling our loofah soaps, but during other seasons we sell the loofah sponges, honey, and different salves and tinctures.

We use all organic practices with everything that we grow. We don’t use any pesticides or chemicals, just crop rotations and organic amendments.
