Gold Oak Ranch is the product of a 20-year working relationship between Jose Luis Melendez and David Scheuring. The Partnership grows certified organic mandarins and conventional almonds, walnuts, and pistachios at three locations in the Capay Valley: Rumsey, Brooks, and in Esparto at Gold Oak Ranch. Yolo County’s second largest oak tree resides at the Esparto location, giving the partnership its name. The Gold Oak Partnership is dedicated to sustainable production in a pleasant and satisfying work environment.
